We’re looking for an experienced, proactive and energetic Sales Professional to help this small, growing organisation achieve its ambition to be the market leader in the supply of Signage and other Visual Communication Products across the Greater Manchester area

You would be joining a small team who all have a hands-on approach and support each other to achieve the very best in what they do.

What’s on offer?

● Basic Salary - £30-£35k basic salary (dependent on experience) + on target performance bonus
● Overall earning potential in year 1 - £40k with significantly increased earning potential in year 2 and beyond
● Location - Media City, Salford with free car parking
● Monthly Car Allowance - approx. £350 per month in addition to Basic Salary
● Benefits include: Pension scheme after 3 months, Hybrid working after successful completion of Probation Period, Mobile Phone, Laptop, Performance Bonus Scheme.
● 22 days holiday per annum plus public holidays
● Some international (North America) travel

As a Business Development Manager you will take responsibility for sales activities and associated job duties, from net new business acquisition through to maintaining relationships and growing revenues from existing customers by introducing complementary products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

● Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base.
● Achieving sales targets and goals set in consultation with you
● Servicing requirements of your existing customers.
● Increasing new business opportunities through various routes to market including prospecting, lead generation follow up, networking events etc.
● Collecting customer and market feedback, keeping up to date with latest technologies, products and competitor positioning.
● Ensure all enquiries are handled and responded to promptly and CRM is updated in a timely manner
● Act in a professional manner and in line with Fastsigns brand guidelines.
● Ensure all training is completed on time and new training and development opportunities are explored.

Requirements and Knowledge / Skills:

● Full UK Driving Licence
● Happy to work from our office in Media City, Salford during the training period with more flexibility (Hybrid working) after successfully completing the training period/consistent achievement of agreed sales targets
● Happy to travel in the Greater Manchester and surrounding areas to attend customer appointments
● Consultative Selling approach
● Project Management required when responding to complex, multi-solution proposals/installations
● Communication, organisation and planning skills
● Self-motivated and uses own initiative.
● A team player who can build and maintain relationships.
● Being competent, flexible, persistent, and effective.
● Able to meet deadlines.
● Competent with IT systems including CRM systems (Hubspot preference).
